Security

Last updated: 18 Jan 2026

We take security seriously and implement safeguards designed to protect society data, resident personal information, and platform operations. This page describes the security controls and practices we follow.

1. Access control

Role-based access ensures users can only view and modify data required for their responsibilities. Privileged actions are restricted to authorized administrators.

2. Encryption

Data is encrypted in transit using TLS. We use industry-standard controls to protect data at rest where applicable.

3. Audit logs and monitoring

We maintain audit logs for critical actions and monitor the platform for suspicious activity. Logs are retained per policy and used for incident review.

4. Data isolation

Society data is logically isolated to prevent unauthorized access across organizations.

5. Backups and resilience

We perform regular backups and have recovery procedures to minimize downtime and data loss.

6. Vulnerability management

We patch dependencies and infrastructure regularly, and review reports of security issues. Please report vulnerabilities to security@societyhub.com.

7. Incident response

We investigate suspected incidents promptly, notify impacted societies when required, and take corrective action to prevent recurrence.
